B&Q have an amazing deal on at the moment that I must tell you about it even if it makes me sound a bit like a market trader. The offer is 3 rolls of loft insulation for only £3. At £1 a roll there are huge savings to be made and not just in the shop.
Insulating your loft will save you money off your fuel bills, year after year. In fact loft insulation is effective for 40 years! And the savings are not to be sniffed at – installing loft insulation can achieve savings of around £200 per year. For those with some existing loft insulation – topping up from 50mm to 270mm saves around £60 per year. So your investment in the rolls of insulation (if you install them yourself) is instantaneous.
But hurry up as (again sounding like a cheesy salesman) this cannot last forever! British Gas is funding the offer as part of the government scheme to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, but there are only one million rolls!

This is true the Grand Jeep Cherokee is on the PowerShift Register and the Range Rover is not, the reason being is that a PowerShift approved LPG installer has applied for the Grand Jeep Cherokee to be included and has provided data/evidence that it meets the PowerShift Register requirements, one of which is that the LPG fuelled vehicle has a minimum 7% reduction of CO2 over the petrol fuelled vehicle. Whereas with the Range Rover, either no application has been made or it did not meet the requirements hence is not on the Register. TfL use the Energy Saving Trust’s PowerShift Register as a basis for granting the London Congestion Charge Alternative Fuel Discount.

I note that a Chrysler Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7 V8 1999 Automatic is listed on the Energy Trusts car registers approved vehicles (those which can claim London Congestion discount if running on LPG), but a Range Rover 4.4 Vogue 2003 - 2009 Automatic is not. Can you explain?
